Saw the food was huge, so just got an omlette with no sides. It was still a lot of food and really filled! The fresh salsa was great, not too hot. I asked for samples of both their gravies just to try, will definitely come back for that. The cappuccinos are big and tasty.

Texas Star Cafe - Flower Mound Nestled in heart of Flower Mound, near Yummy Thai and Chili’s, off Long Prairie Road. Family owned, Breakfast and Lunch Cafe, they treat you like family and make sure everything is cooked to order. I’ve been coming here with my family for over two years and each time, breakfast tastes consistently better. They offer much larger portions than the near by competitors. One of my favorites I order is “Harvest Omelette,” - three eggs stuffed with chicken, spinach, tomatoes, bell peppers, mushrooms, onions and three blend cheese. The omelette is always fluffy and you can choose between regular eggs or egg whites. However, I decided to order something completely new to see if the ingredients and flavors would be consistent from what I normally order. I was not disappointed, yet again. I ordered “Veggie Breakfast Skillet,” - Biscuit and Gravy covered with hash browns, three sunny side up eggs, onions, tomatoes, bell peppers, mushrooms, potatoes and mixed cheese. It’s as if my mouth was having a breakfast party. The portion was large that I couldn’t finish everything. My brother ordered, “3 Meat Skillet” - Biscuit and Gravy covered with hash browns, three scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, ham and mix cheese. My sister-in-law ordered, “3 Meat Skillet” - Biscuit and Gravy covered with hash browns, avocado, bacon, sausage, ham and mix cheese. My dad order “Classic Breakfast,” - eggs, bacon and fruit bowl. Everything was delicious and atmosphere was welcoming full of family hospitality. Aaron was our waiter and he did excellent job. Next time you stop by here, ask for him or any other great staff members. For more great content visit YouTube.com/@AbroadTravel

Food is outstanding!! We go for breakfast and everything we have ordered is cooked to perfection!! My husband is a little hard to please & many restaurants have disappointed him but he LOVES the food at Texas Star Cafe. It’s in a strip shop area and nothing special in decor or facade. BUT the food is Delicious and atmosphere cozy. Thank You Texas Star!!

Great breakfast spot. Biscuits and gravy are worthy! Not too many people there this morning. Hoping they get more people to come. Would hate to lose this breakfast option so close to my home.

Got the chilaquiles, it was delicious, I could probably do without the chicken, or maybe it would be better if it was shredded. I usually like green sauce, but the red sauce here is the best I’ve had. Definitely has spice you will feel later! The staff is nice as well. We will definitely be back!

I went here with my family and had a wonderful experience! Our server Rylee P had excellent service and always asked us if we needed more water and even offered extra lemons with our water which is a sign of great attention to detail! I ate the meat lovers omelette which was pretty good and we also got a side cinnamon roll which was very good and pretty large too. The restraint was a little bit empty so the atmosphere wasn’t a 5 for me. Will definitely come back annd support this local business and will be asking for Rylee again!!

Our first time here and it will definitely not be the last! The food is so good and that cinnamon roll was BANGGIN. My girlfriend loved her banana and neutela French toast. We will definitely be back to try more things because they all looked good and sounded good! Been 3 times now and its been fukin fuego every time.

PROs: Great location. Great food. Excellent service. Sujey was friendly and attentive. She informed that they may be expanding their business hours. CONs: Nothing. We ordered the Harvest omelet and breakfast burrito it came with extras and plenty was leftover to take home.
